BMW's first Neue Klasse EV for the US, the 2027 iX3 50 xDrive opened US preorders on May 6, 2026 starting at $61,500 (Sport trim, excludes $1,350 destination), with the US launch set for September 25 and deliveries in late September 2026. EPA-rated at up to 434 miles on the no-cost 20-inch summer tire package (383 miles on standard 20-inch all-seasons), the highest of any BMW EV in the US. Built on a ground-up 800V architecture with up to 400 kW DC fast charging, it competes with the Tesla Model Y and Volvo EX60 in the mainstream luxury segment.
