Genesis revealed the GV90, a full-size seven-seat electric flagship built on an 800-volt platform. Its dual-motor AWD makes 657 hp and 590 lb-ft (0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds), with a 123.5 kWh battery good for a manufacturer-estimated 310 miles and 10-80% DC fast charging in about 22 minutes at 350 kW. Standard multi-chamber air suspension and an available Neolun variant with pillarless coach doors and a four-seat Executive Suite position it against the Cadillac Escalade IQ and Range Rover Electric. US pricing has not been announced (expected to start well above $100,000); US sales are expected in 2027.

For 2027 Rivian retired its motor-count trim names (Dual, Tri, Quad) for three tiers: Premium, Performance, and Quad, configurable since August 13, 2026. The dual-motor Premium is now the base at $79,990 (R1T) and $83,990 (R1S), making 533 hp and 0-60 in 4.5 seconds standard, with a $5,000 power upgrade to 665 hp and 3.4 seconds. The tri-motor Performance (850 hp) and quad-motor Quad (1,025 hp) hold their prior prices, while the Long Range battery upgrade now runs $86,990 on the R1T and $90,990 on the R1S. The R1S also gains available second-row captain's chairs for the first time.

The EPA rated the new three-row Model Y L Launch Series at 332 miles on its 19-inch wheels (328 miles on the 20-inch wheels), beating Tesla's initial 325-mile estimate. That edges out even the standard Model Y Long Range AWD, and the larger 20-inch wheels cost only 4 miles of range versus the standard Model Y's 24-mile drop.

Range Rover revealed its first battery-electric SUV, and it looks nearly identical to the gas models. Twin motors make 542 hp and 627 lb-ft — more torque than any Range Rover before it — for a 4.3-second 0-60 mph. The 118.5 kWh usable 800-volt pack is EPA-rated at up to 333 miles and charges at up to 350 kW, going 10-80% in about 22 minutes on a native NACS port with Supercharger access. It tows 5,500 lbs, wades 35 inches, and comes in short- and long-wheelbase form from $138,000 for the SE to $252,800 for the SV Ultra (before the $2,450 destination charge). Order books are open for the 2027 model year; deliveries have not been dated.

Lucid revealed the range-topping Gravity GT-S at Monterey Car Week. The new dual-motor performance flagship makes 1,070 hp, hits 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds, and starts at $125,900 (before the $1,850 destination charge). It comes with the Dynamic Handling Package standard and unique blue accents, with a projected 373 miles of range (official EPA rating pending) and availability in late 2026.

Tesla raised two Cybertruck trims by $5,000 in the US with no spec changes. The entry dual-motor All-Wheel Drive goes from $69,990 to $74,990, and the Premium All-Wheel Drive from $79,990 to $84,990. The tri-motor Cyberbeast holds at $99,990. The entry AWD now costs $15,000 more than its $59,990 February 2026 introductory price.

Meyers Manx's electric revival of its 1960s dune buggy joins the list. The open-air, two-seat Launch Edition starts at $125,000 and pairs a 45-plus kWh LFP battery with a manufacturer-estimated 100-plus miles of range and a sub-5-second 0 to 60 mph time. It keeps the hand-finished fiberglass body with no doors or fixed roof and supports DC fast charging. Reservations are open with a $1,000 refundable deposit.

Kia announced US pricing for the 2027 EV3, its most affordable EV. The seven-trim lineup starts at $29,890 for the Light FWD (excludes $1,495 destination) and tops out at $45,890 for the 288 hp GT AWD. EPA range reaches up to 321 miles on the Wind and Land FWD long-range trims, with the entry Light rated at 221 miles. Sales begin in late 2026.

Genesis' first high-performance Magma model tops the GV60 lineup at $69,950. The dual-motor AWD flagship makes up to 641 hp with Boost Mode and 583 lb-ft, hitting 0-60 mph in about 3.4 seconds with a 164 mph top speed, a Drift Mode, and simulated gearshifts. Its 84 kWh 800-volt pack is EPA-rated up to 222 miles. It arrives first at select California, New York, and New Jersey retailers this fall.

Sony Honda Mobility cancelled the Afeela 1 before it ever reached customers. Sony and Honda announced in spring 2026 that they were halting development of the sedan (and a planned second model) after Honda's EV pullback left the venture without a path to market; reservation holders were refunded. It has been removed from the lineup.

Ford's affordable mid-size electric pickup joins the lineup at $28,350, the first vehicle on its new Universal EV platform. Ford targets 300+ miles of range from a cost-focused LFP battery, with a native NACS port for Tesla Supercharger access. Preorders open early 2027, deliveries later that year. The production design and full specs have not been revealed yet.

Mercedes' ultra-luxury electric flagship joins the lineup at $180,000. The single EQS 680 trim pairs 649 hp and 300 miles of EPA range with a chauffeur-oriented cabin, offered with five seats or an optional four-seat executive rear.

Jeep is pausing Wagoneer S production and sitting out the 2026 model year amid slow EV sales, with a 2027 return planned that adds NACS charging for Tesla Supercharger access. It's now marked discontinued (filterable via "Hide discontinued").

Mercedes' new entry-level EV joins the lineup at $47,250, with up to 374 miles of range, an 800V architecture, and 320-kW fast charging. Two trims: the RWD CLA 250+ and the AWD CLA 350 4MATIC.

The Cybertruck now shows its real output: 600 hp for the dual-motor and 845 hp for the Cyberbeast.
