Revealed October 9, 2026: the ID. Tiguan replaces the ID.4/ID.5 on the MEB+ platform with physical climate/volume controls, 58 kWh LFP and 77 kWh NMC packs (up to 373-mi WLTP forecast), and German pre-sales from €42,695. VW of America confirms it will succeed the ID.4 in North America but has announced no US timing, price, or plant (MotorTrend estimates late 2027).

The 2026 Jeep Recon Moab is on sale in the US with customer deliveries underway (US sales figures recorded for 2026). Listed as a released vehicle: $65,000 MSRP ($66,995 with destination), EPA-rated 222 miles, dual-motor 4WD with 650 hp and 620 lb-ft.

The 2027 GV60 Magma is on sale in the US (initially at select retailers in California, New York, and New Jersey): $69,950, 601 hp (641 hp Boost Mode), 222-mile EPA range. Listed as a released vehicle.

US customer deliveries of the 2027 EX60 are pushed back with no new date announced: megacasting production snags limited the ramp-up to a fraction of Volvo's 2,000-cars/week target, and dealers are worried about 2027 supply (Autoblog, Oct 16, 2026). Expected release moved to TBD.

Customer deliveries of the Cayenne Electric began at the end of June 2026, and it has been rolling out to US dealers since late summer. It's now listed as a released vehicle, starting at $109,000. (Porsche Newsroom.)

Verified against chevrolet.com: the 2027 Bolt LT starts at $27,600 MSRP (excl. destination); dataset price corrected from $28,595. Chevrolet now describes the 2027 Bolt as a limited-time return with no 2028 model planned, and Reuters reported in Sept 2026 that Fairfax Assembly is on pace for roughly 35,000 units before production wraps in early 2027 (GM has not confirmed a figure).

BMW revealed the iX4, its third Neue Klasse EV and the coupe-SUV sibling of the iX3, on Oct 7, 2026. The US launch model is the iX4 50 xDrive at $66,200 (excludes destination), with US deliveries starting March 2027: 463 hp, 476 lb-ft, a preliminary EPA-procedure range estimate of up to 428 miles from a 112.2 kWh battery, 0-60 in 4.7s, 400 kW DC charging (10-80% in 21 min), standard M Sport equipment, and a native NACS port. BMW announced the iX3 M60 xDrive (Oct 7, 2026), the first M Performance variant of the Neue Klasse iX3: 603 hp, 645 lb-ft, 0-62 mph in 3.9s, 149 mph top speed, 112.2 kWh usable battery (US), 400 kW DC charging, adaptive M suspension, and 21-inch M wheels. Audi made the RS e-tron GT performance the sole e-tron GT trim in the US for 2027 at $170,500 (912 hp, 2.4s 0-60, 105 kWh, 320 kW DC); the S e-tron GT is dropped, with leftover 2026 S inventory still listed at $127,700. (Audi USA 2027 pages, Oct 18, 2026.)

Audi made quattro AWD standard across the 2027 Q6 e-tron line, dropping the RWD trim: base now starts at $64,500 (456 hp, 4.9s 0-60, 307 mi). The SQ6 rises $300 to $73,200. (Audi USA 2027 pages, Oct 18, 2026.)

Tesla revealed the next-gen Roadster at SpaceX's McGregor facility (Oct 15, 2026): three configs — Performance (0-60 under 1.6s, 2-seat), Thrust (rear cold-gas thrusters, under 0.9s), and the invite-only single-seat Rocket (under 0.59s, 230+ mph, not road legal). Tesla claims 300+ miles of range on all versions; Musk says production starts in 2028. No final pricing announced; US reservations are $50,000 (Performance) and $250,000 (Thrust).

Ford opened an online preorder-interest signup for the $28,350 Fathom EV pickup (Electrek, Autoblog, Oct 14, 2026). Preorders still open early 2027 with deliveries later in 2027, and Ford re-confirmed the 2027 launch timeline.

Chevrolet raised 2027 Blazer EV MSRPs $300 on LT and RS trims (Electrek, Autoblog, Oct 13, 2026): LT FWD now $45,000 ($46,795 incl. destination), RS FWD $50,800 MSRP ($52,595 incl. destination), with the $3,000 AWD premium unchanged so LT AWD is $48,000 and RS AWD is $53,800. SS AWD holds at $60,700.

Backfilled two sparse specs on the 2027 Eclipse Sportback, mirroring the platform-twin 2026 Nissan LEAF (same body shell and powertrain, per MMNA): 98 mph top speed and 55.5 cu ft max cargo. MMNA publishes no separate figures; Autoblog's first drive cites a factory-rated max of ~56 cu ft.

Jaguar confirmed US pricing for the production Type 01 grand tourer at $130,500 following its October 6, 2026 New York reveal (UK price £130,000). Orders open in early 2027 with first deliveries expected in the second half of 2027.

Mitsubishi announced US pricing for the 2027 Eclipse Sportback on October 6, 2026: $37,745 MSRP with up to 282 miles of range from the 75-kWh battery, a single $2,600 Technology Package as the only option, and NACS DC fast charging. US sales begin in October 2026.

Mercedes confirmed to Car and Driver that the Maybach EQS 680 SUV leaves the US lineup for the 2027 model year alongside the EQE sedan, as the first-generation EQ models give way to successors on the new MB.MA platform.

Porsche confirmed the Cross Turismo and Sport Turismo wagons are not part of the 2027 Taycan refresh, so the US Taycan lineup is sedan-only. The four wagon trims have been removed from the Taycan options.

Kia confirmed that the high-performance EV9 GT trim is delayed 'until further notice' due to changing market conditions. The other EV9 trims, built at Kia's Georgia plant, remain on sale in the US.

Volkswagen is offering a $12,500 customer bonus toward the purchase or lease of remaining 2025 ID.4s from September 1 through November 2, 2026, to clear inventory as the model winds down ahead of the ID. Tiguan successor.

Jaguar unveiled the production Type 01 in New York on October 6, 2026: a tri-motor, 1,015-hp four-door electric grand tourer on the new Jaguar Electric Architecture, with 400 miles of EPA range from a 118-kWh battery and 350-kW DC fast charging. Orders open in early 2027 with first deliveries expected in the second half of 2027; US pricing is expected to start around $130,000.

Kia confirmed on October 1, 2026 that the 2027 EV3 has arrived at US dealerships, so the entry flips from unreleased to on sale. Specs are unchanged: 2027 pricing from $29,890 (excludes $1,495 destination), 221 miles EPA on the 58.3-kWh Light trim, up to 321 miles on 81.4-kWh FWD Wind and Land trims.

Tesla confirmed a US spec update on October 2, 2026: the Model Y Premium AWD's 0-60 mph time drops from 4.6 to 4.3 seconds. No price change; the trim stays at $49,990 with 327 miles of EPA range.

The commented-out Electrified G80 block has been reinstated as a proper isDiscontinued entry, per the repo's data conventions. Genesis confirmed in August 2025 that the electric sedan was withdrawn from North America after weak US sales (77 units in the first half of 2025); the facelifted 2026 model never reached the US. The last US car was the 2025 Advanced at $74,875 with 282 miles of EPA range.

BMW announced a more affordable i3 40 xDrive on September 30, 2026: 374 hp, an 82.8 kWh usable battery, 300 kW DC fast charging, and a WLTP range of up to 441 miles (no EPA figure announced yet). European pricing starts at EUR 59,900; US pricing is not yet announced.

Tesla announced October 2, 2026 that every Model 3 in the US, Puerto Rico and Mexico now gets a larger 16-inch center touchscreen (replacing the 15.4-inch unit). The Performance trim also gets a black headliner, 316 miles of EPA range (up from 309) and 528 hp peak power (up from 510), while the Premium AWD's 0-60 time drops to 3.8 seconds (from 4.2). Pricing is unchanged across the lineup.

US order books opened September 29, 2026 for the 2027 Mercedes-Benz G 580 with EQ Technology. The base price rises to $163,750 (plus $1,450 destination) from $148,250. A native NACS port replaces the old CCS1 inlet for DC fast charging (with a separate J1772 port for Level 2 AC), enabling Tesla Supercharger access, and 10-80% DC fast charging drops to 29 minutes from 32. EPA combined range is now 249 miles (up from 239); the dataset's prior 279-mile figure was a pre-EPA concept estimate.

BMW announced US pricing for the 2027 i3 50 xDrive on September 30, 2026: $61,500 before destination ($62,850 with the $1,350 destination charge), matching the iX3 50 xDrive. First US deliveries start in Q1 2027. BMW also raised its EPA range estimate to up to 468 miles (earlier pre-launch reporting said 440), and confirmed an M60 xDrive performance variant arriving later in 2027.

The Slate Truck was listed twice after the September 18 data update added a new entry alongside the older one. Removed the older duplicate; the current listing is unchanged.

BMW opened US reservations for the 2027 i3 on September 29, 2026 with a $1,000 deposit ahead of 2027 deliveries. The electric counterpart to the iX3, the launch i3 50 xDrive uses the same Neue Klasse 800V architecture, pairing a 108.7 kWh battery with dual-motor AWD (463 hp) for up to an EPA-estimated 440 miles of range, the most of any BMW EV. A native NACS port allows Tesla Supercharger access and 400 kW DC fast charging (10-80% in about 21 minutes). US pricing has not yet been announced; Electrek expects a sub-$60,000 start.

Lexus released US pricing for the 2027 TZ 450e on September 29, 2026: the TZ Premium starts at $64,050 including destination (76.96 kWh, 253 miles of estimated range), the Premium Touring at $72,050 (95.82 kWh, 315 miles), and the flagship Luxury at $80,550 (95.82 kWh, 279 miles on 22-inch wheels). All trims make 308 hp with standard DIRECT4 AWD and 3,500 lb towing; a dealer-installed 402-hp Performance Upgrade for the Luxury trim in 2027 enables a 5.2-second 0-60 sprint. Premium arrives late 2026; Premium Touring and Luxury follow in early 2027.

Bentley unveiled the Torcal SUV on September 23, 2026, its first EV in 107 years. It starts at $218,000 in the US with dual-motor AWD making 810 hp and 881 lb-ft, a 113 kWh 800-volt battery for a manufacturer-estimated 375 miles of range (WLTP; not yet EPA-rated), and 400 kW DC fast charging (10-80% in about 16 minutes). A $258,000 Torcal S joins at launch with 876 hp and a 2.8-second 0-60 sprint. Production at Crewe begins by the end of 2026; first deliveries are expected in spring 2027.

Volkswagen confirmed on September 28, 2026 that the ID. Tiguan, built on the new MEB+ platform with physical buttons returning to the cabin, replaces both the ID.4 and the coupe-styled ID.5 (which gets no successor). It debuts at the October 2026 Paris Motor Show, with European sales starting in early 2027 and the US to follow.

Volvo confirmed on September 10, 2026 that the EX40 will be dropped from the US lineup after the 2027 model year. It will not be available in the US or Canada, though it continues in Europe with a facelift. The EX60 ($59,795) becomes Volvo's most affordable US EV, with a new entry-level EX50 expected by late 2027. It's now marked discontinued (filterable via "Hide discontinued").

The coupe-shaped C40 Recharge, renamed EC40 for what became its final model year, was dropped from the US lineup after the 2025 model year and never returned for 2026. It continues in Europe alongside the facelifted EX40. It's now marked discontinued (filterable via "Hide discontinued").

Volkswagen informed US dealers on September 24, 2026 that the ID. Buzz will skip the 2027 model year as well, extending its hiatus to two consecutive model years. The van returns in the first half of 2027 as a 2028 model, bundling the previously announced updates (camping-oriented Tourer trim, one-pedal driving, NACS via a factory-included adapter) with updated software, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability, physical steering-wheel buttons, and a digital key. Pricing and range are still unannounced.

BMW's first Neue Klasse EV, the 2027 iX3 50 xDrive ($61,500), is now shipping. US deliveries began ahead of schedule on September 16, 2026, pulled forward from the planned September 25 launch on strong demand (more than 100,000 orders in Europe alone). It carries an EPA-rated range of up to 434 miles, the highest of any BMW EV in the US.

Updated the Vistiq's output to its production figures: 615 hp and 650 lb-ft with Velocity Max, and a 3.7-second 0-60 mph (previously listed as 500 hp, 450 lb-ft, and 5.5 seconds). The Vistiq uses a single dual-motor AWD powertrain across all trims. Confirmed against Cadillac's spec sheet and Electrek's production-car review, which measured a combined 458 kW (615 hp).

Mercedes' electric GLC, an EV version of its best-selling SUV, arrives at US dealers in Q3 2026 as the GLC 400 4MATIC Electric, starting at $63,500 (excluding the $1,450 destination charge). Built on the new 800-volt MB.EA platform, its dual-motor AWD makes 483 hp and 596 lb-ft for a roughly 4.2-second 0-60 mph, and a 94 kWh usable battery delivers an EPA-estimated 350 miles of range (up to 380 with smaller wheels). It peaks at 330 kW on DC fast charging (10-80% in about 22 minutes) and ships with a native NACS port for Tesla Supercharger access. It indirectly succeeds the discontinued EQE SUV.

The Macan GTS Electric slots between the 4S and Turbo, starting at $103,230 (excluding the $2,350 destination charge). Its dual-motor AWD makes 509 hp normally and up to 563 hp with launch control, plus 704 lb-ft of torque, for a 3.6-second 0-60 mph and a 155 mph top speed. It shares the 100 kWh battery (94.9 kWh usable) and 800-volt, 270 kW fast-charging architecture with the rest of the Macan Electric range, and carries an EPA-estimated 294 miles of range. Standard sport-tuned adaptive air suspension, torque vectoring, an electronic limited-slip rear differential, and the Sport Chrono package distinguish it from the 4S. Revealed in October 2025 and now on sale.

Slate Auto's back-to-basics electric pickup starts at $24,950, aiming to be the most affordable EV in America. A single 181 hp rear motor and a 65 kWh LFP battery (63 kWh usable) deliver a manufacturer-estimated 205 miles of EPA range, 2,000 lb of towing, and a 1,550 lb payload. It ships as a bare 2-seat pickup with hand-crank windows, no paint (a gray composite body meant to be wrapped), and no infotainment screen, then converts to a 5-seat SUV via a bolt-on kit. Native NACS charging and up to 120 kW DC fast charging. Built in Warsaw, Indiana, with 180,000-plus reservations; production begins in Q4 2026 with first deliveries by year-end.

Genesis revealed the GV90, a full-size seven-seat electric flagship built on an 800-volt platform. Its dual-motor AWD makes 657 hp and 590 lb-ft (0-100 km/h in 4.9 seconds), with a 123.5 kWh battery good for a manufacturer-estimated 310 miles and 10-80% DC fast charging in about 22 minutes at 350 kW. Standard multi-chamber air suspension and an available Neolun variant with pillarless coach doors and a four-seat Executive Suite position it against the Cadillac Escalade IQ and Range Rover Electric. US pricing has not been announced (expected to start well above $100,000); US sales are expected in 2027.

For 2027 Rivian retired its motor-count trim names (Dual, Tri, Quad) for three tiers: Premium, Performance, and Quad, configurable since August 13, 2026. The dual-motor Premium is now the base at $79,990 (R1T) and $83,990 (R1S), making 533 hp and 0-60 in 4.5 seconds standard, with a $5,000 power upgrade to 665 hp and 3.4 seconds. The tri-motor Performance (850 hp) and quad-motor Quad (1,025 hp) hold their prior prices, while the Long Range battery upgrade now runs $86,990 on the R1T and $90,990 on the R1S. The R1S also gains available second-row captain's chairs for the first time.

The EPA rated the new three-row Model Y L Launch Series at 332 miles on its 19-inch wheels (328 miles on the 20-inch wheels), beating Tesla's initial 325-mile estimate. That edges out even the standard Model Y Long Range AWD, and the larger 20-inch wheels cost only 4 miles of range versus the standard Model Y's 24-mile drop.

Range Rover revealed its first battery-electric SUV, and it looks nearly identical to the gas models. Twin motors make 542 hp and 627 lb-ft — more torque than any Range Rover before it — for a 4.3-second 0-60 mph. The 118.5 kWh usable 800-volt pack is EPA-rated at up to 333 miles and charges at up to 350 kW, going 10-80% in about 22 minutes on a native NACS port with Supercharger access. It tows 5,500 lbs, wades 35 inches, and comes in short- and long-wheelbase form from $138,000 for the SE to $252,800 for the SV Ultra (before the $2,450 destination charge). Order books are open for the 2027 model year; deliveries have not been dated.

Lucid revealed the range-topping Gravity GT-S at Monterey Car Week. The new dual-motor performance flagship makes 1,070 hp, hits 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds, and starts at $125,900 (before the $1,850 destination charge). It comes with the Dynamic Handling Package standard and unique blue accents, with a projected 373 miles of range (official EPA rating pending) and availability in late 2026.

Tesla raised two Cybertruck trims by $5,000 in the US with no spec changes. The entry dual-motor All-Wheel Drive goes from $69,990 to $74,990, and the Premium All-Wheel Drive from $79,990 to $84,990. The tri-motor Cyberbeast holds at $99,990. The entry AWD now costs $15,000 more than its $59,990 February 2026 introductory price.

Meyers Manx's electric revival of its 1960s dune buggy joins the list. The open-air, two-seat Launch Edition starts at $125,000 and pairs a 45-plus kWh LFP battery with a manufacturer-estimated 100-plus miles of range and a sub-5-second 0 to 60 mph time. It keeps the hand-finished fiberglass body with no doors or fixed roof and supports DC fast charging. Reservations are open with a $1,000 refundable deposit.

Kia announced US pricing for the 2027 EV3, its most affordable EV. The seven-trim lineup starts at $29,890 for the Light FWD (excludes $1,495 destination) and tops out at $45,890 for the 288 hp GT AWD. EPA range reaches up to 321 miles on the Wind and Land FWD long-range trims, with the entry Light rated at 221 miles. Sales begin in late 2026.

Genesis' first high-performance Magma model tops the GV60 lineup at $69,950. The dual-motor AWD flagship makes up to 641 hp with Boost Mode and 583 lb-ft, hitting 0-60 mph in about 3.4 seconds with a 164 mph top speed, a Drift Mode, and simulated gearshifts. Its 84 kWh 800-volt pack is EPA-rated up to 222 miles. It arrives first at select California, New York, and New Jersey retailers this fall.

Sony Honda Mobility cancelled the Afeela 1 before it ever reached customers. Sony and Honda announced in spring 2026 that they were halting development of the sedan (and a planned second model) after Honda's EV pullback left the venture without a path to market; reservation holders were refunded. It has been removed from the lineup.

Ford's affordable mid-size electric pickup joins the lineup at $28,350, the first vehicle on its new Universal EV platform. Ford targets 300+ miles of range from a cost-focused LFP battery, with a native NACS port for Tesla Supercharger access. Preorders open early 2027, deliveries later that year. The production design and full specs have not been revealed yet.

Mercedes' ultra-luxury electric flagship joins the lineup at $180,000. The single EQS 680 trim pairs 649 hp and 300 miles of EPA range with a chauffeur-oriented cabin, offered with five seats or an optional four-seat executive rear.
