The Fathom is Ford's affordable mid-size electric pickup and the first vehicle on its new Universal EV platform, announced August 2026 with a starting price of $28,350 (before destination). Ford targets at least 300 miles of range from a cost-focused prismatic LFP pack built at BlueOval Battery Park in Michigan, with a native NACS port for day-one Tesla Supercharger access, bidirectional power, and BlueCruise hands-free driving. Preorders open early 2027 with deliveries later in 2027. Note: Ford has not yet revealed the production design (shown here as a camouflaged prototype) or confirmed battery size, power, drivetrain, or dimensions.
