The Slate Truck is a deliberately stripped-down electric pickup starting at $24,950, aimed at being the most affordable EV in America. A single 181 hp rear motor and 65 kWh LFP battery (63 kWh usable) deliver a manufacturer-estimated 205 miles of EPA range, 2,000 lb of towing, and a 1,550 lb payload. It ships as a bare 2-seat pickup with hand-crank windows, no paint (a durable gray composite body meant to be wrapped), and no infotainment screen, then converts to a 5-seat SUV via a bolt-on kit. Native NACS charging and up to 120 kW DC fast charging. Built in Warsaw, Indiana, with more than 180,000 reservations; production begins Q4 2026 with first deliveries by the end of 2026.
