Miami startup Chip Motors calls its first vehicle a Life Utility Vehicle: a street-legal, open-air low-speed EV capped at 25 mph for roads posted 35 mph and under. It starts at $15,000 for the 4-seat version ($18,000 for the 6-seat), goes 100+ miles per charge, and features a hose-down interior plus Chip Go, a remote human-driver service that parks the car or fetches curbside orders while it's empty. Deliveries begin in 2027, starting in Florida.
