The 2027 Toyota Highlander BEV is Toyota's first three-row electric SUV, unveiled February 11, 2026 with US sales starting late 2026 (expected ~$50,000 base). XLE FWD covers 287 miles from a 77 kWh battery (221 hp), while the 95.8 kWh AWD pack delivers up to 320 miles and 338 hp. Built alongside the Lexus TZ at Toyota's Georgetown, Kentucky plant with US-assembled batteries from the new Liberty, NC facility. Native NACS port for Tesla Supercharger access. Competes with the Kia EV9, Hyundai IONIQ 9, and Volvo EX90 in the mainstream three-row segment.
