Kia's compact electric crossover starts at $39,600 with 253 miles of range, 201 hp, and FWD. The Niro EV offers a practical hatchback-like interior with strong efficiency, targeting buyers who want a no-nonsense daily commuter. It competed with the Hyundai Kona Electric and Subaru Solterra. Discontinued for the US in 2026: production of the pre-facelift Niro EV has ended, and the facelifted 2026 Niro is hybrid-only stateside. Kia is selling through remaining inventory; after that, the US Kia EV lineup will narrow to the EV6 and EV9 (plus the late-2026 EV3).
